Acceptable use

In short

Use Quote Desk to quote people who asked you for a price. Do not use it to send anything else.

Not allowed

• Sending a quote to someone who has not asked for one, or using the quote email or follow-ups as a way to advertise.
• Entering an enquiry for a person who did not contact you.
• Quoting for work you are not licensed or qualified to do where a licence is required.
• Putting anything misleading, abusive, defamatory or unlawful in a quote, a note or a price list.
• Using another business's name as your business name.
• Posting to the website enquiry form from anywhere but your own website, or trying to post to another account's code.
• Attempting to read, guess or share another account's quotes, accept links or enquiry addresses.
• Automated sign-ups, or opening accounts to get around plan limits.

Customer details

The names and email addresses you enter belong to your customers. Use them to send the quote and for nothing else through Quote Desk. If a customer asks you to stop, stop.

What happens

If we find an account doing any of this we may pause or close it. Where we can, we will email you first. Where the conduct is unlawful we may report it.
