November 2026

Quote Desk launches

The first release of Quote Desk, from the Talk of the Trade team. What it does at launch:

  • A price list of items with a name, a price and a unit, added and removed from the dashboard.
  • A quote builder: up to twenty lines from the price list or typed in, whole-number quantities, a note to the customer, a total that adds itself.
  • Sending: one email to the customer in your business name with the lines, the total, the note and a link.
  • The accept page: the customer opens the link on their phone and presses Accept this quote or No thanks with an optional reason. The quote moves to Won or Lost with the date.
  • Follow-ups on Starter and Crew: one button schedules three reminder emails at 2, 5 and 10 days, cancelled when the customer answers.
  • Enquiries: a forwarding address of your own, a paste-in form, and on Crew a form for your own website. Each enquiry has a Quote this button.
  • An overview with set-up steps, recent activity and this month's usage, and a quotes page grouped as Drafts, Waiting on the customer, Won and Lost.
  • Billing inside the dashboard: the plan, the next charge date, invoices, a card update form and cancel at period end.
  • Three plans: Free (5 quotes, 20 enquiries, no follow-ups, marketing consent), Starter at $39 a month, Crew at $99 a month.
