Quote Desk stores your business name, email, hashed password and mobile; your price list; your enquiries, including the sender's name, email, phone and message; your quotes, including each customer's name and email, the lines, the note, and whether it was accepted or declined, when, and any reason given; monthly usage counts; and on Free, the marketing consent and any withdrawal. On paid plans it stores the subscription status and invoices. Card numbers are held by the card processor, never by us.
The application runs on Vercel, Sydney region once live. The database is on Supabase in Sydney. Email goes through Postmark, text codes through Vonage, payments through Stripe. Each may process data outside Australia as part of its service; otherwise it stays here. Backups are daily.
Your customers' details are used to send the quote you asked us to send and to show you the result. Nothing else. The page a customer opens shows your business name and the quote, with the Quote Desk name in the header and footer and nothing else of ours.
For a copy of your data, or to delete a customer's details, or to close your account and delete everything, email hello@talkofthetrade.com.au from the address on the account. A reply comes back within one business day, Melbourne time.
