Open it and know where you are

Three steps, each a link, each ticked when done: put your usual jobs and prices on the price list; add an enquiry, by pasting one in or forwarding to your enquiry address; send your first quote. The line at the top of the page says which one is next. When all three are done, it says Quote Desk is set up.

Your five most recent enquiries and five most recent quotes, merged and sorted by date, newest first, eight shown. An enquiry reads Enquiry from [name]: [subject]. A quote reads Quote for [customer]: draft, sent, accepted or declined. Each is a link to the thing itself.

The plan name and monthly price, then one line per limit: quotes used of your allowance, enquiries used of yours, and on Starter and Crew the follow-ups scheduled this month. The same meters sit in the side navigation on every dashboard page. A month is a calendar month, Melbourne time, and the count resets on the first.

Quotes are grouped by where they stand: Drafts, Waiting on the customer, Won, Lost. Each row is the customer's name, the total and the date it was sent or created. Open any row for the lines, the note, the decline reason if there is one, and the send or follow-up buttons.
