Price list
Type your rates in once
A price list is a table of the things you quote most: a name, a price and a unit. Call-out fee, $120, each. Labour, $95, hour. Power point, $180, each. When you build a quote, each line has a drop-down of these items. Pick one and the description and price fill in. Anything not on the list you type in on the spot.

What an item is
Three fields. Item is what the customer reads on the quote, so write it the way you would say it. Price is in dollars and cents. Unit is a word: each, hour, metre, square metre, day. The unit shows on your price list page so you can tell an hourly rate from a fixed fee at a glance.
- Item: the words on the quote
- Price: dollars and cents, no GST added
- Unit: each, hour, metre, whatever you charge by
Adding and removing
The form sits at the top of the Price list page. Fill in the three fields and press Add. The item appears in the table below, sorted by name. To take one off, press Remove on its row. There is no edit button: to change a price, remove the item and add it again with the new figure. Quotes you have already sent keep the price they went out with.
How it feeds the quote builder
On New quote, every line has a drop-down headed From your price list. Choosing an item sets the description and the unit price for that line; you set the quantity. Leave the drop-down on Type it in instead and the description and price boxes are yours. Mix the two freely on one quote.
What to put on it
Start with the ten things you quote every week. Your call-out fee. Your hourly rate for one person and for two. The jobs you can price without looking: a tap, a power point, a downpipe, a square metre of tiling. Leave the one-off material lists for the typed-in lines. A short list you trust beats a long one you have to scroll.
Questions about price list
Is there a limit on items?
No. The list is yours on every plan, Free included. Plan limits apply to quotes sent and enquiries received, not to the price list.
Can I import my prices from a spreadsheet?
Not yet. Items are added one at a time through the form. Most trades have their list in within fifteen minutes.
If I change a price, do old quotes change?
No. A quote keeps the description and price of each line as it was when you saved the draft. Changing the list only affects quotes you build after the change.
Send the next one from the ute.
Free is five quotes a month with no card. If you send more than that, Starter is $39 a month. Either way the set-up is typing in your price list.
