Sign in with your email and password, or use the second form on the login page, headed Or get a sign-in link: enter your email, press Email me a link, and we email you a link that signs you in with no password. The link works once and expires after 24 hours.
Passwords are ten characters or more. To change yours, open Account, enter the current password and the new one twice, and press Set password. Every other device is signed out, this one stays in, and a notice goes to your confirmed email saying the password was changed.
Forgot your password? Log out, ask for a sign-in link, open it, then go to Account within fifteen minutes. In that window the Current password field is not needed; type the new password twice and press Set password. After fifteen minutes the current password is needed again, so ask for another link.
If you signed up with a link and never set a password, Account says None yet and offers to set one.
Ten wrong attempts at the current password in fifteen minutes locks the change for fifteen minutes. Use a sign-in link instead.
Quote Desk never emails you a password, and nobody from the team will ask you for one.
