Accept link
The customer says yes on their phone
Every sent quote has its own link. It opens a page headed Quote from [your business], for the customer by name, with each line, the total and your note, then two buttons: Accept this quote, and No thanks with an optional box for the reason. Whichever they press, your quotes page moves it to Won or Lost and records the date.

What the page shows
The business name, the customer's name, every line with its quantity and line total, the overall total, your note, the two buttons, and a line at the bottom telling them how to ask a question: reply to the email, or call your business on the mobile you signed up with. The only things on it that are not yours are the Quote Desk name in the header and footer, with links to the terms and privacy pages.
Accepting and declining
Accept is one press. No thanks opens a small form with one optional question, Anything we should know?, and a Decline button. The answer is final: the page then says You accepted this quote or You declined this quote and the buttons are gone. A second press from another device changes nothing.
What you see
On the quote's page in your dashboard the status changes to accepted or declined with the date. A decline reason appears under the lines. The quotes list groups it under Won or Lost. Your overview's Lately panel shows the change. Any follow-ups still to go are cancelled.
Who can open it
Anyone with the link. It is a long random token, not something that can be guessed from another quote. A draft has no working link; the page only exists once the quote has been sent. There is no sign-in for the customer and nothing for them to install.
Questions about accept link
Does the customer have to create an account?
No. They open the link and press a button. No password, no app, no login.
Can a customer accept part of a quote?
No. Accept is for the quote as sent. If they want some lines and not others, they decline and you send a second quote with just the lines they want.
Does the link expire?
No. It works until the customer accepts or declines. If you want a price to stand for a set time, say so in the note.
Is an acceptance legally binding?
Quote Desk records that the customer pressed Accept, when, and on which quote. Whether that forms a contract depends on your terms and the law in your state. Put your terms in the note and keep your own records as you do now.
Send the next one from the ute.
Free is five quotes a month with no card. If you send more than that, Starter is $39 a month. Either way the set-up is typing in your price list.
