Follow-ups
Chase the quote without picking up the phone
A sent quote on Starter or Crew shows a button: Follow up automatically (2, 5 and 10 days). Press it once. Quote Desk emails the customer a short reminder two days later, again at five, again at ten. Each has the same accept link. If they accept or decline at any point, the rest are cancelled and nothing more goes out.

What the reminder says
Hi [customer], Just checking you saw the quote from [your business] for [total]. You can accept it or ask a question here: [link]. Then your business name. That is the whole email. It is in your name, with the subject Following up on your quote from [your business], and replies come to you once your email is confirmed.
Timing
The three dates are counted from the moment you press the button, not from the send. Press it straight after sending and the reminders land on days 2, 5 and 10. Press it a week later and they shift a week. Reminders go out in a scheduled run every two hours, so expect each one within a couple of hours of its due time rather than on the dot.
Stopping
A follow-up sequence stops when the customer accepts or declines. There is no button to cancel it by hand. If a customer rings you and says yes, ask them to press Accept on the link as well; that both records the yes and stops the reminders. The quote's page shows how many reminders are still scheduled.
Plans
Free has no follow-ups; the button is there with a note that follow-ups start on the paid plans. Starter and Crew have unlimited follow-ups. One sequence per quote: pressing the button again on the same quote does nothing.
Questions about follow-ups
Can I change the wording or the days?
Not yet. The three emails and the 2, 5 and 10 day spacing are fixed. The wording is short and plain on purpose; it reads like a text from you, not a campaign.
Will a customer get a reminder after they accepted?
No. Accepting or declining cancels every reminder still to go, in the same moment the status changes.
Do follow-ups go by text message?
No. Follow-ups are email only. Quote Desk sends no text messages to your customers.
Send the next one from the ute.
Free is five quotes a month with no card. If you send more than that, Starter is $39 a month. Either way the set-up is typing in your price list.
