What the customer sees

The email that goes out when you press Send, and the page the link opens on their phone.

The email comes from hello@talkofthetrade.com.au with your business name on it and the subject Your quote from your business name. It opens Hi and the customer's name, then Here is your quote from your business, then each line with its quantity and line total, then Total, then your note, then Accept or ask a question here with the link, then your business name. Plain text, no logo, no attachment.

If you have confirmed your email address, replies to that email come to you. If you have not, replies go nowhere, which is why the welcome email asks you to confirm.

The link opens a page headed Quote from your business name, For the customer's name, with the same lines, total and note. Below are two buttons: Accept this quote, and No thanks. No thanks opens one optional question, Anything we should know?, and a Decline button.

At the bottom, a line tells them how to ask a question: reply to the email if your address is confirmed, or call your business on the mobile you signed up with.

The page header and footer carry the Quote Desk name and links to its terms and privacy pages; everything else on it is yours. Once the customer has pressed a button, the page says what they chose and the buttons are gone.

Did this answer it? If not, write to us and a person replies within one business day.
